Who?                                               

 

Jared Lewis "Assistant Associate Music Pastor" : )

 

When did you become a Christian?

 

I sort of always had a relationship with God but it wasn't until my first day of church that I decided this is the only place for me to be...I was baptized four months later.

 

When did you first come to Discovery? 

 

Junior year in high school when an old friend invited me to a birthday party after church and invited me to services. Next thing you know I was stacking chairs on Tuesday nights and never wanting to be out of God's way of life.

 

When did you become a youth leader?

 

I believe it was summer of 2005 (Bryan knows for sure) when I was (thrown) asked to sing for middle school and have never wanted to quit since.  

 

What is you favorite thing about our church?

 

The feeling of comfort and worship (amazing house band), the many opportunities to serve, and the lessons I'm taught every time I visit.

 

What is your favorite part of Youth Ministry? 

 

The excitement of the kids learning new things and having a safe place to come and be loved. The many events, trips, activities - and of course "Bryan Sands"!!!
