"Where Iron Sharpens Iron"
How is your walk with the Lord? What about your family life? How are your relationships holding up? Join us as we get together throughout the year to encourage one another through events just for men.
What we do: Throughout the year we offer several events that cater to all types of guys. Once a quarter we meet to eat together, talk a while, and listen to the testimony of one of our brothers. We also have men's retreats, a basket-ball league, a team in the city softball league, fishing trips, golf outings, and more. If there is something you're interested in that we don't do, you might consider getting something started. Whatever the case, we hope you will get plugged in. Because everybody knows the Christian walk is impossible to walk alone.

Our spring men's softball season will begin June 10 and Discovery will have two teams in our city sponsored league. All men age 18 and older are welcome to sign up at the cost of $40 per player. Sign-ups are open from Sunday,
May 5 through Sunday, May 26 in the lobby. Contact Patrick Thackeray (662-0018) for more information.
What about Men's Ministry? We would like to have an individual or groups of individuals take the lead in planning and carrying out different events, programs, activities, etc. for men. If you have an idea or an interest for Men's Ministry please call the church office (924-5002).
